More than one visitor to Stillwater Creek Vineyard has commented on the soil’s similarity to the Rhone largely because of chunks of fractured basalt found throughout the site. While such soils are uncommon in the Columbia Valley, it may help explain why Rhone varieties, like Roussanne, seem to thrive here.
Delicious, ripe fruit aromas and flavors make this wine an appealing quaff. Floral and citrus highlights in the nose and juicy stone fruit on the palate linger across a fresh, concentrated finish.
