More than one visitor to Stillwater Creek Vineyard has commented on the soil’s similarity to the Rhone largely because of chunks of fractured basalt found throughout the site. While such soils are uncommon in the Columbia Valley, it may help explain why Rhone varieties, like Roussanne, seem to thrive here.
A wonderfully polished, aromatic wine with crisp apple and appealing floral spice notes and a concentrated, long-lasting finish.
